The systems shown above left illustrates a typical domestic solar water heating system that can normally provide all the hot water requirements for a family during the summer months with water heating throughout the year. The other systems are freestanding commercial sized systems, the upper image showing systems mounted on tracking mechanism that allows it to follow the sun during the day, thus getting the maximum available energy, the lower on a fixed A frame with a small solar PV unit which runs the circulation pump.
